Jean-Pierre is the Founder of Bleu Capital, a leading early stage investor in the Future of Commerce / Retail Technology in the US. Before launching the fund in 2018, Jean-Pierre and his 2 partners, Vincent Diallo and Joseph Sartre, invested for 3 years in the Future of Commerce in NY and SF building a great portfolio of successful start-ups like Cargo, OTO or Fordays.
Before moving in NY in 2014, Jean-Pierre worked 20 years in China where he founded and was the CEO of Sinodis, the leading imported food and beverage distributor in China. When Jean-Pierre exited Sinodis in 2013 - when it was acquired by Savencia - the company had a revenue exceeding 200M$ with the exclusive distribution of MNCs Brands from 16 countries around the world. Jean-Pierre became one of a very few foreign entrepreneurs to have built a billon Rmb business and successfully exit the difficult China Market. Jean-Pierre is also the co-founder and board member of National Sawdust, a non-profit and concert hall committed to support emerging composers and musicians in the vibrant neighborhood of Williamburg, Brooklyn.
