Fabrice Grinda - Entrepreneur and Angel Investor

Fabrice Grinda is among the world’s leading Internet entrepreneurs and investors. He has over 100 exits on 400 angel investments. Fabrice has served as CEO for three multinational companies and has an impressive track record as an early investor in Alibaba, Flexport, Zume Pizza, Delivery Hero, Betterment and Brightroll. Fabrice is currently running the startup studio and venture fund FJ Labs, which he cofounded with business partner Jose Marin. Prior to FJ Labs, Fabrice was co-founder and co-CEO of OLX, one of the largest websites in the world with over 300 million unique visitors per month. The company operates in 50 countries and has over 3,000 employees. OLX is the largest classifieds site in India, Brazil, Pakistan, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Portugal and many other emerging markets. Before OLX, Fabrice was co-founder and CEO of Zingy, one of the largest wireless media companies in the Americas. Fabrice successfully grew the business to $200 million in sales in four years. Fabrice started his entrepreneurial journey in 1998, at 23, when he co-founded and was CEO of Aucland. Soon after, Aucland grew into one of the largest auction sites in Europe. Before his entrepreneurial endeavors, Fabrice worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. Fabrice holds a BA in Economics from Princeton University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1996, and was awarded the Halbert White prize, given to the most distinguished economics student, as well as The Wolfe Balleisen memorial prize, awarded for best thesis. Ilan Abehassera - Co-Founder and COO @ Willo

Ilan Abehassera is a NY-based Entrepreneur, now a Co-Founder and COO at Willo, a health tech startup building a device that's reinventing the oral care experience, making it automated, super fast, and efficacious like never before. Ilan previously founded Producteev, a productivity suite for SMBs, acquired by Jive Software ($JIVE) in 2012, and a consumer electronics startup, Ily, a new kind of communication device for young kids, acquired by Nucleus in 2016. Ilan is also an angel investor in great companies such as Sunrise (acquired by Microsoft), (acquired by Facebook), Algolia, Checkr, OKPanda, Campaign, SkyGiraffe (acquired by ServiceNow) and 15 more. Ilan likes to back young teams of disruptors. Catherine Barba Chiaramonti - Founder @ PEPS Lab

A serial entrepreneur and digital pioneer in Europe, Catherine Barba is one of the top global experts in the intersection of retail and digital transformation since 1996. She develops the New-York-based PEPS Lab, a Retail Innovation Center that discovers the most promising retail omnichannel practices, from major retailers to fashion brands. Prior to that, Barba founded several digital businesses in France, among which Malinea, acquired in 2012 by the founders of Vente Privee, and Cashstore, acquired by Plebicom Group in 2010. She is also the author of several books about the future of retail, including “Stores are not dead”. A trusted advisor and mentor, Barba is one of the few French female business angels, and serves on the board of several successful tech start-ups, including Leetchi, MangoPay, Reech and Retency, among others. In June 2017, she has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Renault-Nissan.

Alexei Chemenda, USA Managing Director @ Adikteev

Alexei Chemenda is the Chief Revenue Officer for Apps and Managing Director, U.S at Adikteev, where he focuses on leading the company's U.S expansion for its app retargeting product. Prior to Adikteev, Chemenda co-founded MotionLead, a mobile creative solution that built and ran campaigns using in-house playable and interactive ads, with co-founders, Arthur Querou and Louis Bur, after realizing that ad banners on their app were not driving enough revenue. In 2014, MotionLead was accepted into the Y Combinator program, making it the first French company to make it to Silicon Valley’s top start-up acceleration program. MotionLead was acquired in June 2015 by Adikteev.

Alexei now invests in early stage companies with Louis, with a preference for B2B and SaaS (and even B2C apps) but generally speaking any business where they can add value. Their favorite companies are French companies expanding /moving their business to the US.

Mathieu Nouzareth - Founder and CEO @ FreshPlanet

Serial web entrepreneur, Mathieu Nouzareth is CEO of FreshPlanet, the New York-based developer of the highly-popular award winning social mobile game SongPop, the turn-by-turn, simulated real-time play game for music lovers that has built a global following of over 100 Million players since its launch in June 2012. Frédéric Montagnon - CEO & Co-Founder @ Legolas Exchange

Arcady Lapiro was a founding member and member of the Executive Committee of the successful Group ProCapital – Fortuneo France & Belgium (2000-2008) where among other things he was its Head ofCompliance, Legal & Risk and co-responsible of the business development. From its creation to 2008, Fortuneo-ProCapital grew to more than 600,000 retail European clients, and over 35B$ Assets under custody with more than 40 institutional clients as Deutsche Bank Belgium, ING Direct, etc. Arcady was instrumental in the sale of the Group in 2006 to Credit Mutuel Arkea.

Paul Strachman - Venture Partner @ ISAI

After a first work experience with LBO fund PAI Partners then with Bain&Company, Paul spent 5 years at the leading US premium fitness centers Equinox as Strategy Director. Over the past few years, Paul has been simultaneously business angel, consultant, interim manager for NYC start ups.
Based in NYC, Paul represents ISAI in the US : he is in charge of helping ISAI portofolio companies to launch in the US and find financing there ; he is also in charge of ISAI investments activities in the US. 

Jean-Noël Poirier - Managing Director @ Clean Energy Venture Group

Prior to this, Jean-Noel spent 7 years at Honeywell in global leadership roles including Vice President of Global Marketing for the Honeywell Security Group (5 divisions, 10,000 employees, $3B in revenue), Director of Corporate strategy, Director of Worldwide Marketing of Honeywell Turbo technologies, and General Manager of the Turbo Racing unit.

Elie Denfert-Rochereau - Principal @ White Star Capital

Elie joined White Star Capital as an Associate in 2014 after working with several New York business accelerators and startups in the consumer space. He started his career in private equity at Altus Capital Partners in New York, a mid-market LBO investment fund, before making the move to private banking in Geneva. Matt Turck - Managing Director @ FirstMark Capital

Matt Turck invests across a broad range of early-stage enterprise and consumer startups. Prior to FirstMark, he was a Managing Director at Bloomberg Ventures, the investment and incubation arm of Bloomberg LP, which he helped start. Previously, Matt was the co-founder of TripleHop Technologies, a venture-backed enterprise search software startup that was acquired by Oracle.
